Woodbridge Primary School

Woodbridge aspires to be the most caring and encouraging community school

Staff

As an Independent Public School, Woodbridge PS ran a selection process in 2014 to attract the most experienced and suitable staff for our school; who were committed to our ethos. This has brought diversity in perspectives and skills to the school, broadening our knowledge base and enriching our practices. Our staff consists of both permanent and fixed-term teachers and education assistants.

All teaching staff possess a degree that meets the professional requirements to teach in Western Australian schools and are registered with the Teacher Registration Board.

Staff Professional Development

This year professional development will heavily focus on Visible Learning (in particular goal setting), classroom observation and feedback, English, Mathematics, STEM, Connect and improving inclusivity practices for all students. Ongoing professional development in KidsMatter, anaphylaxis and asthma management, and Classroom Management and Instructional Strategies will also occur.
