Pastoral Care
Pastoral care is at the heart of Woodbridge Primary School. It is embedded in all practices and supported by Be You, a nationally-endorsed mental health and wellbeing framework that umbrellas our values and virtues programs.
Key values including getting along, resilience, confidence, organisation and persistence are taught through the You Can Do It! and virtues programs. Students are recognised for displaying these qualities throughout the year in a variety of arenas including The Arts, leadership, sport, the classroom and playground.
School Chaplain
The school employs a chaplain, Tracey Buckley, twice a week to mentor students and implement the Bounce Back program with selected students to build resilience. Tracey also operates our Woodbridge Walkers program on selected mornings before school, and helps facilitate a Drumming Circle.
