At the assembly on Wednesday 15 May, we had the pleasure of being entertained by Room 13 who launched our approach to Positive Behaviour Support (PBS). Our Year 5 and 6 students in Room 13 are to be congratulated on their efforts to present such a powerful assembly item. We had a visit from a special guest ‘Kool Buddy’, our magpie mascot, who was warmly welcomed by the students.

We have had a team of amazing staff members, who have been led by Mr Gander, develop our own approach to becoming a PBS school. Moving forward, students will be taught explicit lessons on our expectations and aspects of our approach to PBS. You may have seen the new Acknowledgment Slip, which can be sent home to recognise students for their efforts.
